Issuance of Department Authorization to Utilize Additional Confidential Funds of LGU
LGUs whose peace and order is a priority concern and which have duly allocated confidential funds, in their annual appropriation ordinances, are entitled to utilize confidential funds.
Item 4.7 of COA-DBM-DILG-Governance Commission for GOCCs-DND Joint Circular No. 2015-01 dated January 8, 2015 provides that the Secretary of DILG shall approve the request of LGUs for an additional confidential funds in excess of the limitation provided under Item 5.1.3.1 of the same Joint Circular.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before proceeding to Client Step 1, please ensure that you have complete documentary requirements.
✅ DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:
Duly approved Three-Year Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan;
Local Peace and Order Council Resolution duly approved by two-thirds (2/3) of the total membership approving the release and use of additional CF;
Certification from the concerned PNP Chief of the locality relative to the peace and order situation highlighting in concrete details the circumstances which require the urgency in allocating confidential activities;
Annual and Supplemental Appropriations Ordinance indicating the appropriations for CF;
Certification from the Local Budget Officer as to the availability of appropriations;
Statement of itemized POP duly certified by the Local Budget Officer;
Certification of compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy posting requirement in at least three (3) conspicuous places for the last 2 quarters, duly signed by the DILG Field Office concerned and noted by the DILG Regional Director and attested by the CSO Representative; and
Physical and Financial Plan, for both the original allocation for CF and the subject request, indicating the proposed amount allocated for each program, activity and project.
✅ Client Steps
STEP 1: Please download and accomplish the Citizen’s Charter Request Form (CCSRF).
STEP 2: Kindly submit the filled-out Citizen’s Charter Request Form (CCSRF) and other documentary requirements either thru email dilgtacurongcity@gmail.com, personally, or via courier to the DILG Tacurong Field Office (DILG Tacurong City, 2nd Floor, City Government Hall, Brgy. Población, Tacurong City, Province of Sultan Kudarat 9800).
STEP 3: Please wait for the notification which will be sent through email / SMS / call acknowledging the receipt of your request and providing other updates. You will also be notified once your requested document is ready for release.
STEP 4. Once you have claimed/received your requested document, kindly fill out the Client Satisfaction Survey Form (CCSF).
